Inauguration of the Abadla Railway Station
As part of the national momentum to modernize transport infrastructure, His Excellency the President of the Republic officially inaugurated the new Abadla passenger railway station in the wilaya of Béchar on 24 April 2025.
This landmark project, designed to enhance the quality and capacity of rail transport in the south-western region, benefited from the technical support of the National Center for Construction Engineering (CNIC), which was appointed to provide Owner’s Project Management Assistance (OPMA).
Throughout the project, CNIC teams ensured rigorous supervision of the works, with particular attention to technical quality, adherence to schedules, and compliance with applicable standards, thereby guaranteeing the delivery of a modern and functional station serving users and supporting local development.
CNIC welcomes the commissioning of this new facility, which further strengthens the national railway network and improves mobility conditions for citizens.
