Engineering Design and Project Management

Description :

The main axes of the methodology adopted for the restoration project are as follows:

Historical Research: This step allows for the identification of the structure, its history, and the changes it has undergone over time (since its construction).

Building Architecture and Construction System: Identification of the architectural style and the construction techniques used.

Surveying: Determination of the appropriate drawing methods and tools, in-depth analysis of the materials used (including sample collection), structural assessment, and identification of reinforcement and repair methods.

Documentation: This phase compiles and organizes all data collected during the previous steps, culminating in the detailed restoration project plan.

Restoration: Considered the core phase, it applies the restoration methodology to the entire building, detailing the intervention techniques for each component of the structure (roof, floor, walls, structural elements, etc.).

Implementation of Construction Works: Execution of the restoration works according to the defined methodology.
